Dubai Properties, Five Holdings and Emaar Hospitality developed Jumeirah Beach Residence, a beachfront community in Dubai Marina with apartments from studios to penthouses.
The 40 towers contain 6,917 apartments in 35 residential towers and 5 hotel buildings. Apartment sizes range from 900-square-foot studios to 5,500-square-foot penthouses and include 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-bedroom units. Six blocks named Shams, Amwaj, Rimal, Bahar, Sadaf and Murjan organize the residential homes. Most apartments have freehold ownership status.
The community stretches along a golden beach in Dubai Marina. The Walk and The Beach are main attractions. Burj Khalifa is 25 minutes away, Dubai Media City is 15 minutes away, and Dubai International Airport is 25 minutes away. A bridge links the development to Bluewaters Island.
Sadaf, Murjan and Rimal are the most popular blocks. Dubai Properties and TECOM Group completed all three in 2007. Each block has gyms, swimming pools, children's play areas, covered parking and CCTV security.
